OVERVIEW

As a member of a science fiction and fantasy fan organization loosely modeled upon Starfleet as seen in Star Trek, and Babylon 5, I try not to discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, national origin, religion, sex, handicap, or species in any of our policies, procedures, or practices. Quite the contrary, I believe the strength of fan organizations comes from the diversity of their membership. As an fan of an organization completely dependent on the devotion and enthusiasm of our members, we strongly encourage participation in meetings, social functions, and the operation and management of your local Fan Clubs.

STATEMENT OF THIS WEB PAGE GOALS

To share our enjoyment of Babylon 5, Star Trek, Star Wars and many other general Sci-Fi shows with our peers, and to provide opportunities for the fan community to partisipate in the creation of not only this web page, but keep everybody informed of Local Events in their areas.

To serve as an Diplomatic organization for local fan groups, and to provide organizational structure, information, and assistance as needed.
To promote the science-fiction and fantasy genres, and to serve as a cultural information source and exchange.
To promote science education and scientific literacy and to serve as a science information exchange. To promote space and space-related activities.

STATEMENT OF EDITOR'S VIEWPOINT
FAITH, HEART, AND STEEL

My viewpoint can be expressed in, Faith, Heart, and Steel, a summation of the mental, emotional, and physical qualities which are to be the founding principles and the guiding philosophy of this web page.

FAITH
Faith represents the spiritual and charitable aspects, I expresse this through acknowledgment of the existence of a power which embodies all life, everywhere. As a derivative thereof.
Faith also represents my respect for fundamental human rights and for the Earth's ecosystem, my commitment to education and community service, and my devotion to helping our fellow beings.

HEART
Heart represents my emotional aspects and acknowledges the emotional nature, and needs, of the beings who are at the heart of various fan organizations. It expresses the intent to be fair, honest, and tolerant in all actions and transactions, and proclaims my empathy and compassion for all life.
Heart embodies my acceptance of the philosophy of "Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations", and, as a reflection thereof, it represents my ambition to function productively through accepting, understanding, and utilizing individual differences and talents to the advantage of the whole.
Heart expresses my desire to cultivate a sense of "family" among the members of variouse fan clubs, and to generate an individual sense of belonging in each and every one of them.

STEEL
Steel represents the physical aspects of this web page expressed through the tone of our interactions with others. It is the courage required to act in accordance with the founding principles when confronted by those who would oppose, violate, or undermine them, and it is the strength of will required to adhere to the principles of peace and noninterference in other's affairs.
Steel also represents the persistence and endurance of the various club members in carrying out the missions of their organizations, combined with the sharpness of intellect and logic applied to their club's affairs.
Steel is the temper, self-confidence, pride and honor.
